Do you treasure those days when your toddler opens the shower curtain twelve times to see if you’re finished?
Do you treasure their sticky fruit snacks on the rug?
Do you treasure their toys and chain saws on the stairs?
Raise your hand if you smile when dishes are still in the sink. Not this girl.
But, I’m learning not to take these things for granted and to stop sweating the small stuff.
All too soon, those toys and fruit snacks will be gone.
I’ve made it my mission to move through life slower.
“Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.” (Luke 10:41, 42 NIV)
Will you join me?
